يا أيها المهدي أنا قد جئت أروي قصتي
O Mahdi I have come to narrate my story
أنعى حسينا في الفلا ملقا فتجري دمعتي
I lament Hussain in every barren land...as my tears serve as a stream
أنت الذي وفقتني في كربتي و لطمتي
You have honoured me with my sorrow mourning
يا سيدي أرجو رضا في عبرتي و عبرتي
O my master I lead to you be leased with my grief sorrow
خوفي إذا ذكروا الحسين بكربلاء
If Hussain Karbala is mentioned I fear..
ألا أكون واسيتكم في مأتم
That I do not console you in your majlis
ومقصرا إن لم أواسي في العزاء
Shortcoming am I if I do not attend the mourning rocessions
واحسرتي إن كنت أنت لائمي
Woe uon my desair when you ut the blame on me
م بين اجفاني و بين الدمع عشره
Between my eyelids tears are a history
احس داست شعوري و خاطري العشره
It affected my emotions and feelings through the ten days
امن ادگ صدري اواسي المنطحن صدره
When I beat my chest I remember the one with the shattered chest
حافر منطبع و مگطوع الصبع
Hooves stamed on his chest as his fingers are severed
كل جسمه سهام دامي و منعفر
His corse is full of arrows bloodied and dusted
راسه منگطع و انته منفجع
Decaitated head as you are heartbroken
من شفته ابرمح ايلوح به الشمر
When you witnessed Shimr arading him with a sear
آه وكم تتلوها آه وا زينبا وا زينباه
Woe what a ain O Zainab O Zainab
للشام راحت بالنساء في الدرب يمشون حفاه
Towards Shaam the women were taken as they walk barefooted
يحفهم فوق الرماح رأس وغطاه دماه
Over them is a severed head shrouded only with his blood
وجدي على أم المصاب إذ ينكث الرجس شفاه
My ain is for Zainab as the immoral man insults her
تمشي وفي درب الآسى هي باكيه
She marches in sorrow as she wees
نادت أيا بنت الهدى يا فاطمة
Exclaiming O daughter of Muhammad O Fatima
إني أنا أمشي لدار نائيه
Here I am walking to the abode of treachery
أنا زينب للرأس صرت الاطمة
I am Zainab uon the severed head I mourn
ويه الحوره بدموعك رحت للشام
With your tears accomany Zainab to Shaam
وانته اللي شفت عمتك مع الظلام
As you witnessed your aunt among the oressors
يشتموها و يخلوها بخرابه تنام
Insulting her as they abadon her in the ruins
و شگد اتعبت حين اللي شفت
How I wonder what grief overcame you when you witnessed
زينب تنضرب و تركب عالهزل
Zainab assaulted taken as a cative
ندري بك خفت و وياها رحت
Surely you accomanied her in the journey
تحامي عمتك من سوط النذل
Protecting your aunt from the whis of the lowly men
وفي مصاب العسكري يا سيدي يا سيدي
In the tragedy of alAskari O my master
أرجوك خذني للعزا ولتبقى أنت شاهدي
Take me to the majlis and be my witness
لآل بيت النجباء أحيا بحزن سرمدي
For the numinous rogeny I am revived remembering their calamity
وأبقى حيا بالبكاء وقلبي فيكم يقتدي
I remain alive through tears as my heart is drawn to you
صفر مضى وأنا هنا للعسكري
Safar has assed but I am here for alAskari
ياقائما ياواهبا يا والدي
O Qaem O bestower O my father
أملي أكون يوم اللقا في العسكر
I dream for our reunion to be in the barracks
وأنادي قد جئت لأنصر قائدي
As I exclaim I am here to suort my leader
يعينك الله وش حامل من مصايب
May Allah hel you with the tragedies you carry
و گلبك يا إمامي امن الحزن ذايب
O my Imam your heart has melted with sorrow
و سهم الموت هالليله منو صايب ؟
Tonight which arrow of death will it ierce?
مسموم الحسن و دموعك لمن
AlHassan is osioned but who are your tears for?
لموت العسكري لو أم الخدر
For the death of alAskari or for Zainab?
لو هذا الشجن للماله چفن
Or for the corse without any coffin?
بيمن ياترى انعظم لك الاجر ؟
For whom should we send to you our condolences
أسعى إلى أرض الحسين و في يميني رايتي
I strive to the land of alHussain as I carry my banner
هل لي أرى بين المشاه بدرا ليروي لهفتي
Will my eyes lay a glimse on the radiant moon from among the visitors?
يا أيها البدر التمام أرجوك إسمع دعوتي
O illuminated moon I imlore you to hear my rayer
في كل عام أن تكون نحو الضريح خطوتي
In every year I want my stes to take me to the shrine
كم أرجو يا أملي هناك بأن أرى
O how I wish to lay sight over there
ذاك السنا ذاك البهاء الأجمل
That bright radiant light the most beautiful
وأزور من وهب الحياة جواهرا
Visiting the bestower of this blessing in life
لأكون من زار الإمام الأكمل
So that I can be among the ones who visited his Imam
